Competition Eligibility
We aim to help kickstart promising advanced-degree consulting careers. Thus, we invite you to join our competition if:
You're interested in consulting, business, and healthcare/life sciences fields, and;
You are/were a current student or postdoctoral associate at an accredited college or university anywhere in the world. See the text below for details.
If you recently graduated, you must have received your diploma or completed your defense no more than three (3) years before the application due date.
If you are a current student, we warmly welcome you to join us - whether you're in an undergraduate, masters, doctoral, or professional program. However, no more than one undergrad and MBA candidate is allowed in a single team.
Teams are expected to consist of 3-5 members.
Presentation Rules
General Round
Teams are expected to submit a URL to the recorded video of the presentation (can be google drive, You Tube etc) as well as a copy of their slide deck in the format of pptx or pdf due by April 4th 11:59 PM EST.
Video upload must have a clear timestamp, choose your platform accordingly.
Late submissions will not be considered for further review.
Deliverables must be submitted via email to sehcasecomp@gmail.com.
Both the video submission and slide deck should be titled according to the following format: “TeamName_24SEHCC”.
Presentations are not to exceed 15 minutes in length.
Videos more than 15 minutes by any length will not be judged.
All team participants are encouraged to present.
Participants are expected to be visible on the screen when presenting.
Work submitted must be original with adequate citations.
Slide decks have No Slide Limit and may include appendices, though only slides presented in the video will be used for scoring purposes.
Slides may not include any images, text, or other indications of college/university affiliation.
Semi-Final and Final round
Presentations will be live on April 16th.
All team participants are encouraged to present.
Participants are expected to be visible on the screen when presenting.

Slides may not include any images, text, or other indications of college/university affiliation.
On the day of the case competition semifinal/final rounds, at least 3 participants must be logged in and present on screen 5 minutes prior to their presentation slot.
Incomplete teams will be disqualified and may not reschedule their judging slot.
Teams are responsible for sharing their own screen during the presentation as well as managing their own slide transitions and timing.
Accommodations will not be made for technical difficulties or internet connectivity issues and participants are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Time limitation for live presentations will be strictly held to 15 minutes for the semifinal and final round.
A moderator will remind both participants and judges by doing a 1 min countdown.
Following each round of live presentations, judges will have the opportunity for 10 minutes of questions during the semifinal round and 15 minutes during the final round.
The semifinal presentation round will be closed judging, private for each team.
Final presentations will be open to all competition participants to view live.
Judging Critera
Analysis
Narrative: Clear, logical flow with smooth transitions and organised analysis.
Information: Rigorous research and relevant, in-depth analysis demonstrating key factor comprehension.
Logic: Analysis based on a clear hypothesis, supported by solid evidence.
Recommendation
Utility: Practical, actionable recommendations that the client can readily implement.
Thoughtfulness: Creative solutions tailored to the client's unique needs and context.
Realism: Acknowledges risks and limitations, considering implementation obstacles.
Presentation
Delivery: Professional and confident presentation delivery with clear expertise.
Aesthetics: Visually appealing slides with easily accessible key information.
Balance: Logical structure with balanced content coverage and timing.
