Do I need any business or case interview experience?
Having business or case interview experience is good but definitely NOT required! To effectively tackle the cases, you’ll need analytic and problem-solving skills which you have already learned from your past experiences in research or business.
Do I need prior knowledge about business or industry?
No, these are good to have but definitely NOT required. The case prompt you’ll be working on might not be in the same field even if you have business or healthcare industry experience.
I’ve never participated in a case competition before. How can I know whether this is a good opportunity for me?
It’ll be a great opportunity as long as you’re interested in business or consulting. Participating in the case competition will give you experience in business analytics, which is an essential skill for various types of jobs in the business sector.
Can post-docs, residents, or research fellows be included on teams?
Yes!
How can I find teammates?
Register for one of our info sessions which will be held on Feb. 28 or March 12 at 6 pm EST. We will have a team-building event right afterward.

Will we receive a confirmation email once our team has been registered successfully? Do I need to pay an entry fee to attend the Case Competition?
We will notify all teams by March 24th 2024, if they have been accepted into the competition.
Once you receive the email notification that you have been accepted into the competition, no further actions are needed.
